recordaba una frase de un consultor hace a\u00f1os que me hizo reflexionar sobre la clave para invertir en tecnolog\u00eda con sentido de negocios y era: \u00bfUsted compra tecnolog\u00eda con un concepto \u201cState of the Art\u201d o \u201cState of the Business\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Y \u00bfCu\u00e1l era el dilema?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cuestionarnos c\u00f3mo incorporamos la tecnolog\u00eda. Si lo hacemos con un concepto de tener lo \u00faltimo a\u00fan sabiendo que no est\u00e1 lo suficientemente testeado y adaptado a nuestro mercado y que tendremos que destinar m\u00e1s recursos e inversi\u00f3n para lidiar con su implementaci\u00f3n; o bien optar por lo m\u00e1s alineado con la mejor proyecci\u00f3n en direcci\u00f3n a la evoluci\u00f3n y aplicaci\u00f3n en nuestro negocio.<\/p>\n<p>Cuantas veces hemos comprado para nuestras actividades deportivas o hobbies los \u00faltimos modelos teniendo el costo de ser los \u201cearly adopters\u201d hasta su estabilizaci\u00f3n. Y muchas, sobre todo cuando tenemos tendencia a innovar, pero esto es algo que tenemos que encarar con mucha inteligencia en nuestros negocios. Sino estaremos haciendo m\u00e1s el negocio de los proveedores que el nuestro, pagando los costos de anticiparnos por encima de la adecuada maduraci\u00f3n para su aplicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Y aqu\u00ed esta el dilema: c\u00f3mo combinar la mejor arquitectura y herramientas para nuestra operaci\u00f3n con la tecnolog\u00eda m\u00e1s adecuada, asegur\u00e1ndonos su r\u00e1pida capitalizaci\u00f3n y una adecuada proyecci\u00f3n para nuestro crecimiento y evoluci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Y all\u00ed record\u00e9 otra frase \u201czapatero a tus zapatos\u201d y esto se aplica en el mundo de las soluciones inform\u00e1ticas. Para ello tenemos que trabajar considerando dos criterios claves en su desarrollo, flexibilidad y practicidad en su funci\u00f3n e integraci\u00f3n para su complementaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Si llevamos esto al mundo de la banca y los servicios financieros, hay 3 aspectos clave en la elecci\u00f3n \u201cstate of the business\u201d de la tecnolog\u00eda :<\/p>\n<p><strong>1- Un n\u00facleo de procesamiento potente flexible, escalable e integrable<\/strong> con canales y servicios digitales, que brinde una alta automatizaci\u00f3n de los procesos de negocios a un nivel de alta eficiencia y bajo costo de operaci\u00f3n. En s\u00edntesis, la base de operaci\u00f3n del negocio.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2- Plataformas para facilitar el desarrollo de canales y servicios digitales<\/strong> de simple adecuaci\u00f3n a las necesidades y evoluci\u00f3n de los h\u00e1bitos de nuestros clientes con formatos transportables a m\u00faltiples dispositivos<\/p>\n<p><strong>3- Herramientas para facilitar el manejo y an\u00e1lisis de la informaci\u00f3n<\/strong> para control de gesti\u00f3n y \u201cdata an\u00e1lisis\u201d en forma flexible, capitalizando los datos del \u201ccore\u201d, canales y digitales.<\/p>\n<p>Una arquitectura balanceada en estos tres frentes nos permitir\u00e1 proyectar nuestro negocio sin l\u00edmites al menor costo, capitalizando la especializaci\u00f3n que nos brinda cada tecnolog\u00eda si supimos cubrir y seleccionar adecuadamente las tres alternativas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1les son los errores m\u00e1s comunes del mercado?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Seleccionar y adquirir lo a\u00fan no adecuadamente probado y estabilizado, teniendo luego el costo que demanda su adaptaci\u00f3n con el consiguiente riesgo de demoras o costos mayores en su implementaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li>La adquisici\u00f3n de m\u00f3dulos complementarios que ofrecen algunos proveedores, en \u00e1reas que no son su especializaci\u00f3n, y que una vez que entran en r\u00e9gimen nos damos cuenta del nivel de su limitaci\u00f3n y alto costo para su evoluci\u00f3n unido a la falta de un \u201cexpertise\u201d propio de aquellos que se focalizan en el \u00e1rea en cuesti\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>En s\u00edntesis, a mayor grado de innovaci\u00f3n mas deberemos aplicar el sentido com\u00fan para saber integrar tecnolog\u00edas con el adecuado nivel de maduraci\u00f3n en una combinaci\u00f3n que capitalice la esencia de cada especializaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Hoy m\u00e1s que nunca recuerdo que el que ganaba en las canchas no era el que ten\u00eda el \u00faltimo equipo sino el palo adecuado y probado para hacer cada tiro en cuesti\u00f3n.
